With ENVIRONMENTAL Studio, it’s all about sustainability
The construction industry is responsible for nearly 40% of global carbon emissions, generated from both the energy used to operate buildings and the carbon embedded in materials like concrete and steel. At Environmental Studio, we prioritize sustainability by designing with natural materials and taking a holistic approach to building envelope performance, ensuring that the spaces we create are built to last. In doing so, we aspire to craft environments that meet today’s needs while safeguarding the future of our planet.
What Is a Passive House?
Passive House is a building standard focused on energy efficiency, comfort, and sustainability. Key features include airtight construction, high levels of insulation, high-performance windows, and heat recovery ventilation systems. These elements work together to minimize heat loss in colder months and keep buildings cool in warmer months, significantly reducing the need for traditional heating and cooling systems. As a result, Passive House buildings use up to 90% less energy than conventional structures, offering both environmental benefits and long-term cost savings.
